Android test

Help bring Penny to Google Play.

Before a new app can go public, Google asks for a small group of people to try it for two weeks. Join them and use Penny on your phone before anyone else: know what's safe to spend today, with spending added from your bank alerts and receipts, and no bank login.

Leave your email

Use the email of the Google account on your phone, the one you use for the Play Store. That's how Google lets you in.

Get the invite

When the test opens, we email you a link. Tap it, accept the invite, and install Penny from the Play Store like any other app.

Keep it for 14 days

Use it as much or as little as you like, just keep it installed for two weeks. Tell us what you think, if you want to, on Discord or by email.

Join the test

Android 7 or later. Free, no account in the app, and your money data never leaves your phone.

We'll email you the invite, and you'll get the Penny newsletter: news and updates, about once a month, unsubscribe at any time. We keep only your email address, never shared or sold. Privacy policy

Questions

Is it safe to test?

Yes. It's the same Penny that's on the Microsoft Store: your data is encrypted on your phone, and Penny has no servers and no analytics. Reading bank alerts is optional and off until you turn it on.

Will I lose my data when the test ends?

No. When Penny goes public, the app simply updates. Everything you entered stays.

Do I have to give feedback?

No, but we'd love it. The Discord is the quickest way, or write to [email protected].

On Windows?

Penny for Windows is already on the Microsoft Store. Get it here.
